
India: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on 17th Feb issued a advisory asking people to be cautious against fake pictures of martyrs being circulated on social media. The CRPF urged not to invoke hatred.

CRPF helpline has enquired about complaints about harassment and found them incorrect.

The paramilitary force has deployed around 65,000 personnel as part of 61 battalions in Jammu and Kashmir.
40 CRPF personals were attacked brutally on 14th February and they all lost their lives. The attack was claimed by Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM). JeM is a terror outfit that is led by Pakistan based terrorist Maulana Masood Azhar, who was freed by the Indian government in 1999.
