Multiple Fake news claims-: The tagline of the movie Shikara has changed from The Untold Story of Kashmiri Pandits vs to A Timeless Love Story in the Worst of Times. #BoycottShikara #Boycott_Shikara Mr. Chopra, if u don't have the balls to show the incident how it was then why u mentioned it's about Kashmiri pandit? Such a cheap publicity stunt... U lost my respect...

Facts Check Verdict: True
News Verification: Vidhu Vinod Chopra's movie had put a great expectation on the mindset of the people before the release, however after the movie released there are several boycotts of the movie on Social Media. The big reason for the change in mindset is that the people feel deceived from what they were expecting after viewing the trailer and what they are seeing after watching the new tagline.
The new tagline of the movie now is “A Timeless Love Story in the Worst of Times.”. Many feel it is just to make everyone feel happy but not the Kasmir Pandit, who were the actual sufferers.
The new poster of the movie that changed the tagline from ‘The Untold Story of Kashmiri Pandits’ to ‘A Timeless Love Story in the Worst of Times’ sparked a controversy. Looks like the movie while it’s release, tried to make a politically correct statement, Shikara even tries to do away radical Islamic terrorism.
Social media reaction on Shikara Name change.
Untold story of #KashmiriPandits could be #BollywoodType like #Shikara where fake love & pseudo secularism are must elements even if it doesn't go well with the real life.False plot!#DonNotWatch this movie. Mr. Chopra, You should be ashamed of your claim#Tanhaji right lesson!

Making Sanjay dutt look like a victim of Bombay blasts is not okay.He was just a plain fucker to not stand up to the enemy! White washing militants is not okay! Tell me really, how do you sleep at night? #Boycott_Shikara @VVCFilms

#Shikara is a joke on the plight of Kashmiri pandits. Rather, movie is sympathetic towards ones who embrace violence. Denying the sufferings of a community by staying away from telling the real truth is a great injustice indeed.

SHAME on #Shikara. HOW DARE YOU Not show Radical Islam & genocide but showing in good image. This is slap on Kashmiri Pandits face & not showing truth what Kashmiris gone through. Change the title from “Untold” to “Cover-up”. Boycott this movie my fellow Hindu brothers & sisters! https://t.co/2MejNQmksY

The movie Shikara is directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, after a gap of five years with Shikara. Shikara's initial trailer was totally based on the plight of the Kashmiri Pandit, the tagline suggested for the same however with the new tagline just before the release a lot of controversies have erupted.
A video of the women is fuming at the filmmaker Vidhu, which is viral on social media. The woman is heard saying, “You showed the kids of Hindu, but not of Muslim, you did not show radicalism, you did not show the truth."
Shame on @VVCFilms for #Shikara
