News Verification: The message claiming the boy getting burnt due to Acid is not true. The post has been widely shared on twitter and facebook.
In the picture the boy can be seen wearing Ayyappa Mala, mostly done before visiting the Temple on Shabarimalai hills which is an annual ritual in the winter.
As per news published by deccanchronicle, Thoothukudi: Two students sustain burns after acid spill in school laboratory.
Two class - 7 students of a government-aided private higher secondary school, involved in removing acid bottles from the school’s laboratory, sustained burn injuries as the acid spilled on them.
The school management, however, tried to cover up the accident brought to light by a lawyer, who also informed the police about the accident.
